Dass die Zuschauer beim Oldtimer-Grand-Prix rollende Motorsport-Historie erleben k\u00f6nnen, dazu tragen die vielen engagierten Fahrer, Sammler und Teams bei, die ihre motorisierten Zeitzeugen mit in die Eifel bringen. Eine dieser Mannschaften kommt aus dem Schwarzwald: Vater Stefen Trautwein und sein Sohn Yannik f\u00fchren mit dem Team Schnitzer Classic die Tradition einer legend\u00e4ren BWM-Mannschaft weiter. Zu den sechs Fahrzeugen, mit denen die Mannschaft zum Ring reist, geh\u00f6ren aber in diesem Jahr auch zwei absolut sehenswerte Formel-2-Fahrzeuge. W\u00e4hrend Yannik Trautwein eines von ihnen im Formel-Demolauf pilotiert, ist das andere am Junghans-Stand im Fahrerlager zu bewundern.<\/em><\/p>\n

Die Formel-Fahrzeugen legten in den 90er-Jahren den Grundstein f\u00fcr die Sammlung der motorsportverr\u00fcckten Familie: Stefen Trautwein legte sich damals seinen ersten Formel 2 zu, dem weitere folgen sollten: Sieben St\u00fcck umfasst die Sammlung inzwischen \u2013 alle Fahrzeuge sind Originale aus dem Maurer-Team. Zum Oldtimer-Grand-Prix kommen zwei von ihnen, die 1983 f\u00fcr Stefan Bellof und seinen Teamkollegen Pierre Petit eingesetzt wurden. \u201eBeide Fahrzeuge liefen hier am N\u00fcrburgring\u201c, beschreibt Yannik Trautwein, der den Monoposto im Demolauf pilotieren wird. \u201eDamals hatten diese Autos seitliche Sch\u00fcrzen, die mit Federn an den Boden gedr\u00fcckt wurden, um den Ground-effect zu nutzen. Wir verzichten hier aber auf sie.\u201c Das mindert allerdings nicht die Fahrbarkeit, wie der Fahrer mit einem Grinsen verr\u00e4t: \u201eDas Auto f\u00e4hrt sich toll, fast wie ein gro\u00dfes Go-Kart.\u201c<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr reichlich Dampf sorgt auch das Antriebsaggregat: \u201eAls Motor setzte Maurer damals den BMW M12\/7 ein\u201c, sagt Yannik Trautwein. \u201eDer Zweiliter-Vierzylinder leistet rund 300 PS bei 525 kg Gewicht \u2013 das Leistungsgewicht ist ziemlich optimal.\u201c Konstruiert wurde der Maurer-F2 von Gustav Brunner, der sp\u00e4ter als Formel-1- Konstrukteur f\u00fcr ATS ber\u00fchmt wurde. \u201eDas waren die ersten Formel-2-Fahrzeuge mit Kohlefaser-Chassis\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Stefen Trautwein. \u201eDamit war das Team seiner Zeit schon einiges voraus. Auch Optik und Linienf\u00fchrung sind toll \u2013 f\u00fcr mich die sch\u00f6nsten Formel-2-Autos, die gebaut wurden.\u201c<\/p>\n
