August 2025 ist weit mehr als ein Rennwochenende f\u00fcr historische Fahrzeuge. Hier erwartet die Besucher ein echtes Motorsport-Festival mit unz\u00e4hligen klassischen Fahrzeugen, bei dem es nicht nur auf der Rennstrecke jede Menge zu sehen gibt. Im Fahrerlager und in anderen Bereichen der traditionsreichen Eifel-Rennstrecke kommen gro\u00dfe und kleine G\u00e4ste aus dem Staunen nicht heraus. Es gibt emotionale Wiedersehen bei Autogrammstunden, Technik-Faszination mit automobilen Kunstwerken aus allen Epochen und Informationen aus erster Hand. Es erstreckt sich in diesem Jahr sogar bis in die Mercedes-Arena \u2013 mit Hunderten Fahrzeugen, Teams, Ausstellern und weiteren Angeboten. Zu den Highlights auf der Rennstrecke selbst z\u00e4hlen unter anderem die Demonstrationen des klassischen Le-Mans-Starts, das stimmungsvolle Abendrennen der zweisitzigen Sportwagen und GT bis 1971, die Formel-1-Boliden der Cosworth-\u00c4ra sowie die Premiere eines sortenreinen Supertourenwagen-Rennens. Demofahrten mit Vorkriegsrennwagen und historischen Motorr\u00e4dern sind ebenso dabei, wie die Nordschleife, die zum \u201eKiebitzen\u201c einl\u00e4dt. In den Rennen greifen auch prominente Fahrer bei den \u201eTourenwagen Golden \u00c4ra\u201c wieder ins Lenkrad und k\u00f6nnen zum Beispiel im Rahmen der gro\u00dfen Autogrammstunden am Samstag und Sonntag aus n\u00e4chster N\u00e4he erlebt werden.<\/p>\n<h2>Oldtimer-Versteigerung im ring\u00b0boulevard<\/h2>\n<p>Auf der \u00fcberdachten Flaniermeile des ring\u00b0boulevards steht Classicbid im Mittelpunkt: Rund 100 Oldtimer kommen am Wochenende unter den Hammer, die hier ausgestellt werden. Bei der Live-Auktion am Samstag 11:00\u202fUhr darf jeder mitfiebern. Und wer m\u00f6chte, kann sich vor Ort auch als Bieter registrieren. Auch au\u00dferhalb der Auktion ist der Stand einen Besuch wert \u2013 die Fahrzeuge sind das gesamte Wochenende \u00fcber zu besichtigen.<\/p>\n<h2>Historisches Fahrerlager: Zeitreise mit Geschichte<\/h2>\n<p>Im historischen Fahrerlager sind die \u00e4ltesten Fahrzeuge des Wochenendes in Ihrer Originalkulisse untergebracht: Die Vorkriegsrennwagen der Vintage Sports Car Trophy erhalten in diesem Jahr Gesellschaft durch die historischen Motorr\u00e4der von \u201eGrab the Flag!\u201c. Ein besonderes Ausstellungsst\u00fcck: Ein Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider, der 1971 beim 96-Stunden-Rennen auf dem N\u00fcrburgring startete. Der damalige Fahrer, Hanno Schumacher (85), wird ebenfalls vor Ort sein.<\/p>\n<h2>Grand-Prix-Fahrerlager: Marken, Stars und tolle Partner<\/h2>\n<p>Das Herz der Veranstaltung schl\u00e4gt auch in diesem Jahr im Grand-Prix-Fahrerlager. Denn hier sind nat\u00fcrlich alle teilnehmenden Teams mit ihren Rennfahrzeugen zu finden \u2013 vom Formel-1-Boliden bis zum Tourenwagen. Ruhebereiche mit reichhaltigem Catering-Angebot laden zum Verweilen ein. Zugleich gibt es im Paddock Merchandising-St\u00e4nde, Fachliteratur, Modellautos, Zubeh\u00f6r, Memorabilia und vieles mehr: eine Fundgrube f\u00fcr Enthusiasten. Und nat\u00fcrlich begegnet man hier den Teams und Fahrern ganz unmittelbar \u2013 die Chance auf ein spontanes Benzingespr\u00e4ch, ein Selfie oder ein Autogramm inklusive.<\/p>\n<p>Zur Vielfalt tragen au\u00dferdem die Partner des Oldtimer-Grand-Prix bei. Bei Titelsponsor BELMOT k\u00f6nnen sich Besucher das ganze Wochenende \u00fcber ihre frisch erworbenen OGP-Poloshirts und Renn-Pullover personalisieren lassen. Den entsprechenden Gutschein gibt es beim Kauf eines offiziellen OGP-Polo-Shirts gleich dazu. Am Samstag um 15:00 Uhr l\u00e4dt der Versicherer dann zur Premiere der neuen Podcast-Reihe \u201eBELMOT &amp; Friends on the road\u201c an seinen Stand im Fahrerlager. Sp\u00e4ter gibt es ab 18:30 Uhr bei der BELMOT-Standparty Live-Musik. Als offizieller Zeitnahme-Partner ist auch Junghans wieder mit von der Partie. Die Uhrenmarke feiert 2025 ihr zehntes Jubil\u00e4um als Zeitnahme-Partner und hat zwei exklusive Sondermodelle in streng limitierter Auflage mit dabei: Die 1972 Automatic und die 1972 Chronoscope erscheinen in Editionen von jeweils nur 52 Exemplaren \u2013 ein Verweis auf die 52. Auflage des Oldtimer-Grand-Prix. Auch weitere edle Zeitmesser gibt es am Stand direkt neben der Siegerehrungsb\u00fchne zu bestaunen \u2013 und dazu noch einen originaler BMW M1 aus der renommierten Sammlung Steim.<\/p>\n<p>Nicht weit davon ist auch Medienpartner Motor Klassik mit seinem gro\u00dfen Zelt pr\u00e4sent. In diesem Jahr gibt es dort erstmals eine Sonderschau historischer Renn-Motorr\u00e4der, die durch ausgew\u00e4hlte Automobile erg\u00e4nzt werden: Ein Porsche 924 wird am Samstagabend an den Gewinner des Motor-Klassik-Leserpreises 2025 \u00fcbergeben. Au\u00dferdem steht hier ein Alpina-BMW M3 von 1987, der einst von Ellen Lohr und Andreas Bovensiepen beim Brno Grand Prix gefahren wurde. Und wer sich hier zu Kaffee und Kuchen niederl\u00e4sst, erlebt vielleicht auch die gro\u00dfen Autogrammstunden (Sa., 12:30 Uhr und So., 11:30 Uhr) mit prominenten Piloten der \u201eTourenwagen Golden \u00c4ra\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Auch die Treibstoff-Experten von Aspen sind wieder im Fahrerlager vertreten und pr\u00e4sentieren den Oldtimer-freundlichen Sprit \u201eAspen Classic Fuel\u201c. Die Rennteams k\u00f6nnen den Sprit am Wochenende \u00fcbrigens auch auf Praxistauglichkeit testen, denn der Hersteller verteilt 2.000 Liter des Treibstoffs kostenlos an die Teilnehmer. F\u00fcr Besucher gibt es hier au\u00dferdem die \u201eAspen Challenge\u201c: Vier Mal zwei Wochenend-Tickets f\u00fcr den OGP 2026 gehen an diejenigen, die einen gef\u00fcllten 5-Liter-Kanister mit ausgestrecktem Arm am l\u00e4ngsten waagerecht halten. Etwas weniger kraftaufw\u00e4ndig ist die Aufgabe bei Simracing-Spezialist \u201eRacewerk\u201c: Hier ist ein High-End-Rennsimulator zu finden, und Interessierte k\u00f6nnen selbst ins virtuelle Cockpit klettern.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00dcberall Attraktionen<\/h2>\n<p>In der Mercedes-Arena versammeln sich die Top-Markenclubs. Hier befindet sich auch der BELMOT Service Point mit praktischer Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fcr aktive Teilnehmer. Au\u00dferdem warten rund um die Strecke weitere Attraktionen auf Entdeckung.
