New series and races at the Belmot OGP
Several premieres are set to be highlights this year. The new “Formula Heritage” marks the debut in Germany of a dedicated format focusing exclusively on formula racing cars from the 1970s to the 1990s. The goal is to bring to life an impressive cross-section of international formula racing from that era.

Also new is the “Class ONE Revival.” This new format brings legendary DTM Class 1 cars from the years 1993 to 2020 together on the track—featuring major manufacturers, renowned drivers, and the key figures who shaped this era.
The program is further enhanced by another highlight: the Interwetten Sports Car Challenge, featuring around 20 vehicles delivering thrilling races and spectacular motorsport action. High-performance prototypes—including modern LMP3 and PRC cars—guarantee high speeds, intense battles, and impressive performance on the Grand Prix circuit.

Dragster Show on Saturday and Sunday on the Grand Prix Circuit
Dragster Mary takes the stage: As one of the few women from across the Atlantic, Mary demonstrates the meaning of true power. She will showcase her skills with “The Patriot” on both Saturday and Sunday during the midday race break. When she fires up the engines, the air erupts in a thunderous roar and the ground begins to shake. With immense acceleration, these 15,000-hp machines rocket down the track, delivering a spectacular experience filled with adrenaline, smoke, and raw power.
Saturday Evening
A special highlight awaits visitors on Saturday evening: the traditional evening race featuring two-seater race cars and GT vehicles built up to 1965 promises an atmospheric experience—complemented by fireworks and, for the first time this year, impressively illuminated hot-air balloons.

The Belmot OGP is all about significant anniversaries
The BMW M3 takes center stage, as it celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2026. In collaboration with BMW Classic, international BMW brand clubs, and the Belmot OGP organizers, up to 150 vehicles will be showcased in the AMG Arena. Visitors can experience the evolution of this classic—from early models dating back to 1986 to the latest generations—including track action on the Nordschleife. M3 owners wishing to participate in the celebrations can register here: https://oldtimergrandprix.com/teilnehmer/#bmw-m3
Another anniversary is being celebrated by the Bugatti Club Deutschland e.V., marking 70 years of club history. Founded at the Nürburgring in 1956, the club remains dedicated to preserving the Bugatti legacy in the spirit of Ettore and Jean Bugatti. On Sunday, a special presentation in the historic paddock invites visitors to experience around 40 extraordinary vehicles up close—these, too, will take to the legendary Nordschleife. The Type 32, also known as “The Tank,” will be on display throughout the weekend.

In addition, the OSI Owners Club International is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the rare OSI 20m TS. First unveiled at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show, only about 2,200 units of this model were built; today, an estimated 80 road-legal examples remain worldwide. The AMG Arena thus offers a rare opportunity to discover these automotive rarities up close in a small yet exquisite exhibition.
Maserati celebrates 100 years of the Trident—that distinctive emblem which, like no other, represents this storied Italian brand. The legendary Trident first adorned the race cars from Modena in 1926, becoming an unmistakable symbol of passion, elegance, and motor racing. To mark the anniversary, the Maserati Club Germany is showcasing a rare Maserati 26M—among other vehicles—that impressively evokes the brand’s glorious beginnings. This rare machine was primarily driven by Luigi Fagioli and René Dreyfus.

Motorcycle enthusiasts can look forward to a very special guest: a true Nordschleife legend is making an appearance. Fifty years ago, Helmut Dähne won the Production Class at the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy riding his BMW R 90 S. He also still holds the lap record for the Nordschleife—set in 1993—with a time of 7:49.72 minutes. He will be present in the historic paddock from Friday to Sunday at this year’s OGP, accompanied by his winning bike from 1976.
AMG Arena
As always, exceptional clubs can be found here:
TVR, Porsche, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Jaguar, De Tomaso, and Osi Torino will not disappoint! Here, you can view the finest examples spanning decades of historic automotive craftsmanship—all freely accessible and just a few steps away from the Grand Prix paddock.
